We believe that sports—especially lacrosse—can be a powerful vehicle for social change.
BlackStar Lacrosse is are committed to addressing the deep-rooted generational inequities and racism that have long impacted Black communities across our region.
While our work is centered on uplifting Black youth and families, we welcome all to join our program. Being Black is NOT a requirement. Our doors are open to every young person and family who believes in equity, growth, and unity through sport.

Our goal is to dismantle structural racism while creating spaces of wellness, joy, and empowerment. Through mentorship, cultural pride, and the discipline of the game, we help young athletes thrive both on and off the field. Our vision is to build a more just, inclusive, and thriving future—one player, one family, one community at a time.

We are going right at the increasing representation for people of color in lacrosse. We are adressing structural barriers that affect marginalized communities such as cost, access to coaching and geographical barriers.
