Roger is a South Central native with an impressive coaching resume. His Lacrosse journey began at the storied Manual Arts High School as a witty attackman with a deceptive stick. Coach Roger emphasizes teamwork, discipline and building swagger through wall ball. His Coaching stops include: Marymount California University, Manual Arts High School Girls Lacrosse, Starz Lacrosse Foundation and Los Angeles Inner City Association.

John Norwood is a Los Angeles native with a great love for the game of lacrosse. His Lacrosse journey started at Windward school's first lacrosse team. He emphasizes mastering the fundamentals and playing lacrosse at a high IQ level.

OLIVIA OUGHELTREE
14U Girls Coach
Rhode Island native, Coach Olivia "Liv" Ougheltree, joins the Black Star Lacrosse family to help grow our girls' program. Liv began her lacrosse career in grade school and played for a variety of top select teams in the New England area while earning all division and all state honors throughout high school. While at college at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, Liv got involved with coaching and led the Verona Wildcats to a State Championship game during her first year. After college and a few successful seasons with the Wildcats, Liv returned to Rhode Island where she began working for Hasbro, Inc. and was named the head coach at Barrington High School, the top public high school program and number two overall program in the state. There, she led her team to three state championships, developed numerous players, with two going onto play at the prestigious Duke, Virginia, and Middlebury programs, and helped mentor close to 100 high school girls over the years. A new resident of Echo Park, Liv enjoys working out, cycling, cooking, and going to the beach when not working or coaching lacrosse.
